Partial Differential Equation User Function?

I'm fairly new to STAR, and I have four partial differential equations that I would like to enter into STAR to display four variables as a function of time and postion. I had hoped that I could just pop them into a field function, but it appears that only algebraic field functions can be entered. What would be the best way of going about entering my equations to have STAR solve for them? Will I have to discretize them myself in order to enter them into STAR?

What are these equations? Depending on your equations, you might be able to use some features in starCCM+ to solve for them. For example, a PDE in the form of a transport equation (may contain a transient part, a convective part, and a diffusive part, as well as sources/sinks), can be solved for using passive scalars.
