Hello all, I'm relatively new to star-ccm+. I've built the 3D fluid geometry (so just the fluid region) in solidworks and imported it into starccm. For a piping section I have heated pipes and I was wondering if I could just specify the heat flux at the boundary of the fluid and not include the solid regions in my simulations.

Yes. For each boundary, under Physics conditions, there's a "Thermal Specification" option...change that to Heat Flux.
