I am doing meshing on screw compressors and while performing the mesh, the rotor gears are tearing.
I am applying Surface Wrapper and Remesher models.
Please suggest a meshing model which will resolve this problem.
thanks

Post a picture, hard to help without doing so...

Are you sure you need to use the surface wrapper? It really should only be used if you absolutely have to. Spending a few hours fixing "moderately" troublesome geometry can save you lots of time in the long run over using the surface wrapper.

What's the name of remedy you use to cure bad geometry?

Sometimes fixes can be made in the CAD program (SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.) through various means.

Other times I use the Surface Repair tool in STAR-CCM+. You can do this at the part level and fix various issues (intersections, holes, etc)

Do you use feature-based CADs to prepare an assembly for meshing? How do you fill gaps, holes and remove unnecessary fillets?
