crevoise is on a distinguished road
Hello

I have build a CAD geometry with CCM+ CAD tool.

However, for a part of my geometry, I wish to import a geometry that I designed with another software. I wish then to use some features of this imported geometry in order to go on with further designing and ten meshing.

While I am importing the Nastran file, (Import>Import CAE model), it is creating both a new 'region', and an 'imported model' element.

I can't yet use these region or imported model in order to use them as a base for further design. (I wish to use one face of the imported geometry, in order to extrude it (with the Loft function) until a face of the geometry I designed with CCM+)

Do you think there is a way to do this? Or the geometry imported are only 'passive', so that we can't use them for further work with them?

Thanks for your advices
