Hi,
I'm trying to model the change in mass of a solid-liquid component material due to pressure variation. the question is shall I model two different mesh and properties in the simulation file, if so how can I merge those? Any other idea/solution?

Thanks in advance

I think you need VOF multiphase model, so search this '' Modeling Melting and Solidification'' in tutorial of the software and see how to do that.
