Hello Friends

Here I have a problem and wish anybody to have some advice>
I am simulating gas/solid 2 phase flow. Solids are in a cylinder and air flows from inlet and outlet. I hope to define the solid particles always in the cylinder since in real case there is a filtrating net at the outlet to stop the solids from getting out.

I set the outlet boundary condition of solid as 'impermeable', but during iterations I still found the particles are decreasing.

Any friends know how to solve this?

Thank you!

Hello

I thought it is because I used Eulerian mixture model instead of Lagrangian model...... But is there anyway to stop the particles in Eulerian Multiphase model?

The particles will move to the outlet and then in the impermeable they will stick to the boundary, but they will be removed from the domain, except you give the boundary condition to be 100% rebound. After changing to impermeable, you need to go to the physic condition and change mode.

Hi Siamak, thank you very much for your reminder! I will pay attention to the setting of boundary.

Regards
