Modelling magnetic permeability -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

Ladnam Member Join Date: May 2010 Posts: 40 Rep Power: 15	Do you know if it makes sense to model the local magnetic permeability in a geometry by finding B/H at a certain position? I have a cylinder of a material with known permeability and want to find the local effective permeability of the cylinder+some steel bolts that are added to the cylinder. I also wonder how to set up a uniform magnetic field, the H field.
