Hi there!
I want to set up a simulation, with the following parameters in star-ccm+ 7: steady, compressible flow of air (ideal gas) through a Y - Pipe. Two stagnation inlets and one pressure outlet. low-re k-epsilon-model with all y+ wall treatment. The total pressure and total temperature of the inlets are 50000 Pa and 300 K. The pressure at the outlet is 0. What is the supersonic static pressure exactly? The description in the manual is a bit confusing... can someone give me a numerical example? My problem is, that i can't find a combination of options which leads to convergence. I think the mesh is fine... So can someone provide me with any generell suggestions? I adjusted everything like it is discribed in the user's guide. I am new in star-ccm+ and don't know what you need to know, so feel free to ask Thank you for the help! And sorry for the bad english^^ flux |
