I'm trying to create a computational domain that is 2750x770x1980m but I'm receiving an error message from Star-CCM+ informing me that the extrusion distance (1980m) is too large?

I know that you could enable large model support in FLUENT and that increased the size of domain that could be used. Can Star-CCM+ do something similar?

I'm modelling flow around high rise buildings and other urban geometries, so my computational domain has to be considerably large. I'm also implementing the numerical flow data within a quadrotor dynamic model so I can't scale it down using the same Reynold's number and different characteristic dimension, inlet velocity etc.

3d-cad has a limit of 1000m so draw at say 1/10th scale then scale up in parts using a transform.
your could also draw your large outer domain block in parts then subtract the buildings as a mesh operation assuming the buildings are within the size limit of 3d-cad.
