Splitting a circle out of a plane rectengular surface

Hi,

I am modifying an old CCM+ simulation which has parts imported from a CAD tool unknown to me.

There is a surface at Geometry->Parts->"Partname"->Surfaces->"Surfacename".

It is a rectangular plane and I would like to split it into 3 surfaces: two circles fully surrounded by the rectangular plane (at a specific location and with a defined diameter).

Is this possible, or do I need to modify the part with a CAD tool?

Thank you for your help.

kind regards,
hebeldebel

if it is 'real' cad that has been imported you can edit it in 3d-cad and draw the required circles on the surface and then imprint this sketch on to the surface to split it

if not then make some some cylinders in parts and do an imprint mesh operation in parts

thank you very much for your answer, I will try it right away

edit: worked like a charm!
