Interface

I am working on a project in the marine propeller.
Where i have to create the domain and interface and after interface for the rotating part is created, i have got the results.
My question is how the data is getting transferred from the interface to the propeller and vice versa.

If you have a conformal mesh, the data transfer is the same as it would be from any other cell. If you do not, an interpolation scheme is used to transfer data from one region to another.

Interface

Dear Sir

Thanks for the answer.
The type of mesh used is polyhedra with y+ >1, and i didnt opt for conformal mesh. If i am creating the interface the data is getting transferred but my question is how the data is getting is transferred from interface to the propeller.
As i am giving wall boundary condition to the interface and propeller blades.

The wall BC doesn't matter assuming your geometry for the interface is of good quality. The faces from the wall BC will be removed and put into the interface BC.

Then an interpolation scheme is used to determine mass fluxes and primitive variable transfer between the two sides of the interface.
