Hello everybody!
I'm sorry for my question, maybe it is silly but I'm quite new to star-ccm+ and cfd in general.
I would like to create a fully developed flow as an inlet condition to a pipe. I have extruded the inlet boundary in the normal direction, creating a new region, and I have created a periodic fully turbulent interface between the extruded inlet and the extruded "outlet". Then I have created an in place internal interface between the the extruded "outlet" and the inlet boundary of the pipe. But when I initialize the interfaces it tells me "Warning. No intersections found for interface In place." (Or "Periodic"). I don't know the cause and I don't know if there is another way to do this.
Do you have any suggestions????

Thank you!

Ps: I've run separately the simulation of the fully developed flow and then imported velocity, turbulent kinetic energy and dissipation rate as an inlet condition for my pipe but my boss wants me to create the turbulent flow directly in the extruded region.
