Hi all
I have rectangular domain. In which i have setup my case with two sliding meshing and 4 overset mesh. I have initialized the Overset Interface and Sliding Interface. It successfully created cut in the background mesh for the overset. And initially im trying to run this case for laminar once if its successful i can turn it for Turbulent. i gave the physics and initialized over all domain with 0 Pa Gauge Pressure and 111m/s for free stream velocity and propeller is rotating at 2500 rpm. Implicit time stepping of 0.001s and 5 inner iterations. The problem i face when i start my iteration i get an error tat "Attempt to access unallocated VolumeFractionLevel1 storage in cells in Domain" i have attached the image of the mesh Please help me on this.. Thanks in advance. Cheers |

Check that all of your solvers are unfrozen and that your solution is clear

I have checked all my solvers. It is unfrozen. Any other way to troubleshoot this problem.

I have attached my domain region.. Its rectangular box in that i have subtracted a sphere. Hence i can use sliding mesh there.

If this is an external aero problem, your mesh is far, far too coarse to get a good answer.
What are your physics? Volume fraction implies you have a multiphase model selected. Make sure that isn't the case. |

Yes.. this is an external aero problem.
I have used implicit unsteady, segregated flow, constant density and laminar as physics. |

Well, let's start disabling things to see what is broken. Get rid of the overset interfaces and see if it initializes then.
But you should really review your mesh, it is not adequate. |

I will try and report you tomorrow. because total mesh size is 13Millions cells.
