Counting number of particles - DEM

Hi,

Is there any way, I can count the number of particles in a particular domain?

I have particles flowing through a pipe and go into an orifice. My flow domain is divided into two regions, viz. pipe and orifice. Is there a way I can calculate the number of particles in each domain separately?

Like number of particles in pipe domain and number of particles in orifice domain

Thank You
Yesaswi

Hi,

Did you find a way to do that? I am struggling the same situation.

Thank you.

I dont know about the number of particles but you can extract volume(mass) by creating a boundary through which the particles are passing and then creating field sum monitor using incident mass flux.
