Counting number of particles - DEM
Hi,
Is there any way, I can count the number of particles in a particular domain? I have particles flowing through a pipe and go into an orifice. My flow domain is divided into two regions, viz. pipe and orifice. Is there a way I can calculate the number of particles in each domain separately? Like number of particles in pipe domain and number of particles in orifice domain Thank You Yesaswi |
Report in the tree -> element count ->create monitor and plot from report?

Did you find a way to do that? I am struggling the same situation. Thank you. |
I dont know about the number of particles but you can extract volume(mass) by creating a boundary through which the particles are passing and then creating field sum monitor using incident mass flux.
