Mean flow field in Large Eddy Simulation

Hello my friends,

I wonder how to take mean values of flow field (velocity, temperature, etc.) by time step in Large Eddy Simulation analysis in Star-CCM+.

I want to compare LES with URANS and RANS but I need mean values.

Hi,

You can use Field Mean monitor for this. How do you want to sample can be set up as well and if you want a sliding window to average that can be set up as well.
