Plotting field function of 3D surface

I want to plot the pressure on a car hood vs. position. Is there anyway to export this data so I can plot it in 3D? I have made an X-Y plot of the pressure on the hood vs position, but it doesn't really tell me anything because the part is a 3D element.

I would like to do this for y+ and several other field functions.

Thanks!

Should work

Hi,
1.) Derived Parts>New Part>Cell Surface allows you to create a part that only consists of the cells nearest to any part surface/surfaces you choose
2.) Tables>New Table>XYZ Internal Table creates a table ready for extraction, tabulation and .csv export for any number of selected scalar values along with the corresponding X,Y, and Z cell coordinates - you can choose to do this just for a specific part you may have, for example the "cell surface" one you defined in step 1
This should be all you need!
