I am working on a implicit unsteady simulation with a translating body (using overset mesh). I would like the translation to be in segments (2 s in the x directions, 1 s in the y direction). I have two translations set up, but I am unsure of how to apply this to the solution.
Is there a better way than to solve for two seconds with the region motion set to translation 1, and then change physical time to 3 s to solve for the last second with translation 2? Thanks |

There is an article on CD-Adapco's steve portal which explains how to define a complex motion using a table. That should help you out.
