Incident mass flux of non-walls

Hi all,

I am new to this forum, please forgive me if I provide too few details.
I am modelling a screen located in a particle-ladden flow, which I model using the langrangian approach. I am interested in measuring how well the screen is able to capture particles. I include a restitution coefficient, so some of the particles which impinges the surface of the screen do not stay there - they bounce back out into the flow and may later travel downstream away from the screen.

I am currently trying to develop a tool to plot the screen "efficiency" - that is - how much particle mass is captured compared to how much is let through. I have tried making a derived part -> section -> plane before and after the screen. I wanted to monitor (using reports) how much particle mass incident each surface - the difference must be the captured mass!
For some reason, STAR CCM+ can only monitor incident mass flux on "wall" type boundaries. So now I don't know what to do... Any suggestions would be extremely welcome.

Thanks again.

Henrik
