Hi,
Every time I try to mesh a geometry with a high number of cells (usually above 90-100M) I get an "Invalid Integer Cast" error at the very end of the meshing (when it says "optimizing mesh"). I have tried to mesh on different processors, on a different number of processors, different simulations, different mesh sizes, without any luck... See the picture attached for what Starccm+ returns (I only did screenshot, could not copy paste here). Any idea? thanks for your help! |

The problem looks like it is in the partitioner.
This is likely a bug, so I would give the case to your support engineer. However, have you tried: 1. meshing in serial 2. Clearing any existing grid before meshing this one |
