Hello,
I'm currently doing an internship about VIV study. I use the STAR CCM+ latest version. And I'm wondering : is it possible to model it through a 3D multiple layer mesh in order to save computing time and to gain in accuracy ? (Is my question clear ? I hope so!) Thanks |

Hi Jodan
If by 3-D mesh you mean hexahedral mesh, then yes you can create it, but in STAR CCM+ there are some conditions the region should follow. See directed meshing in the CCM+ documentation |
