MissCFD is on a distinguished road
I read the explanation about the Normal Stress Term that we can active in properties of Standard K-Epsilon model but I would like that someone confirm me that this Normal Stress Term is right the second term of Reynolds stress tensor ? If yes, I didn’t know that this second term was so called.

This second term can be neglected so if we don’t active this option the Reynolds tensor write in a more simplified way as:
\rho u^{'}_{i}u^{'}_{j} = 2 \mu_{T} S_{ij}

Is that right ?

Is this term always absorbed into the pressure in the momentum equation when the Normal Stress term is active ?

Thank you
