Hey guys,

I'm fairly new to CCM+, so I'm sometimes struggling with functions which I think should be basic, but aren't too trivial in CCM+.
Let's say I want to move a part to a specific position, but don't know its current absolute position. Where is the part's origin or some coordinates shown?

I know the translate function but it only accepts a translation vector i.e. relative coordinates from the part's current position. Or is there a function with which I can move something to an absolute position?

Okay, I found something myself, but I don't know if it's the most elegant way:

The measure tool also gives absolute coordinates for start and end point and also in the properties of the objects I can see for example the start and end point for a cylinder and its radius.
I think I'll manage with these information...
