6-dof
Hi
Im calculating a motion of a body using the DFBI Rotation and Translation and Id like to see on the scalar scene the movement of the body relative to the laboratory reference coordinates. No luck. The examples in the tutorials didnt help. Anyone can ? |
Hi!!
You can do it doing the same as the vortex shedding solution recording and playback tutorial, as it is an unsteady case. Hope it helps! |
Hi everybody
Im tring to simulate a 6DOF trajectory of a very small particle moving in a chamber with two opennings, one with low pressure and the other with high pressure. Im using the overset mesh and everything goes ok while the particle is in the flowstream inside the chamber. But when he particle reaches the chamber walls the program stops with an error message: "Failed to cut hole in region AAAA. This might be due to an overlapping of overset regions" I activated the "Close proximity" and it didnt help. Is there a way to let the particle move back to the flow stream after it reaches the wall ? Thanks |
You should use discrete element method. Overset mesh is not suitable for that purpose

Thanks . Ill try it
