Hi, guys.

I want to know how to make human manikin in Star-ccm+.
Are you using another software to make human geometry?

That is a lot of work. You would be better off downloading a completed model, repositioning as necessary in CAD and importing to CFD from there.

Depending on what you have access to for CAD software you might be able to just create it automatically. I know that Siemens NX has a tool for creating and positioning human figures. You can control all sorts of features from height to position.

Hi

Easier way.. go to www.grabcad.com and try downloading from there..
or
use the dummy from the Human Thermal Comfort Analysis example in the tutorial. After relocating the body parts, run the surface wrapper and wohla, your manikin is ready

Hope this was helpful

I need a standing human body, So Using Thermal Comfort Example is hard to me.
But the former method is very cool.
I will try it. Thank you!!

Thank you! It works well.

There is a question about this import file.
Can I adjust this imported dummy model?
For example, Drawing circle on the dummy face in 3d-cad.
