Hey guys, any luck on further fixing the problem? My newly installed StarCCM+ does not want to work, because of this problem. I am running Windows 10 and StarCCM+ 11 with a POD licence. I have changed my internet connection 3 times already, all on WiFi.

Kind regards

Hey Jørgen,

I have fixed my problem, it seems like it was some antivirus program that was pre-installed on my laptop that caused the isssue where the antivirus blocked Star-CCM+ to comunicate through the firewall. The unfortunate thing is that once the program starts to show these symptoms it makes a restore point in the installation somewhere and I couldn't find that.

The solution I had to do is reset my laptop (basically format and reload Windows), in some cases UNINSTALL said antivirus before installing Star-CCM+ and then only will the issue be resolved.

Regards
