LES initial condition
 

Hello everyone!I am a very beginner with star ccm+, and i have to do a LES of a delta wing. I want to use as initial condition the result of a RANS, how can i do? which is the fastest way?

Start off with a steady state RANS analysis and let it converge. Stop the file, change your physics continua to reflect your LES setup and select solution > clear solution and uncheck fields option. Then click OK. You now have a file setup for LES, initialized to your steady RANS results that will begin from iteration 1.
