unsteady velocity field as inlet condition

Hi everyone,
I have two questions.
I calculated unsteady velocity field into the pipe after the rotating part. I want to export the velocity field and then use this data as input conditions in the new simulation. How do I export data containing the velocity field depending on the time? How to use the data then (as inlet)?

Thanks

There are several tutorials available in the user manual that covers how to implement changing inlet velocity profiles and/or velocity profiles defined by a table. The user manual is available within the files of your install (some poking around helps) or on the Steve Portal.

Some specific keywords that might help are ramping boundary conditions, user defined table, or import table.

For time-dependent inlet boundary i need to imort table(xyz, time), but i see no way to export this table(xyz, time) from my first sim, there is only an option to export table(xyz).

You'll need to check the manual to make sure this is the correct procedure, but off the top of my head.

Under the tools drop down menu -> right click tables -> create internal xyz or desired table type -> export desired date from the part or surface.
