In Star CCM+ (version 10) is there any way to define the minimum and maximum values of a color bar? I am making sequential images, but the colors are only meaningful in a standalone image, and not collectively. Thank you for your help!

I think what you need to do is
scene/plot->scalar displayer->scalar field->properties-> min/max

Hope this helps

kgunter is correct. if you are like me and like to avoid bastardized scales you can also control the number of bands in the color bar and the number of labels in the properties window under scene/plot->scalar displayer->scalar field.

Example of Bastard Scale: [10, 17.5, 25, 32.5, 40]

vs

Example of Proper Scale: [10, 15, 25, 30, 35, 40]
