How to apply velocity profile at inlet

To make my question as simple as possible, I have gathered experimental data from flow through a square duct. Using an anemometer, I gathered the velocity data at the vertical, horizontal, and diagonal directions. After plotting the data and adding trendlines, I have the velocity functions for the three directions. How do I map these functions to the inlet velocity conditions? Is there a tutorial that I have yet to find that explains this well? I apologize if this is a simple question, I am an undergraduate researcher this summer and I am a beginner with Star. Thank you very much for your time and help!

I believe you will want to set physics conditions > velocity specification to 'components' and then physics values > velocity > Table (x,y,z) to define the spatial variation of those components.

Or... you can write a field function that defines the 3 velocity components as a function of xyz and set physics values > velocity > field function...
