Hello everyone,

I am fairly new to CFD and Star CCM+ so excuse me for my lack of knowledge. I am trying to simulate 2 phase flow of crude oil and water in a pipeline. I am not too sure how to approach it yet, I have looked at Eulerian multiphase and Eulerian -Eulerian approach, but have no experience with either nor an in-depth understanding. So my questions are:

1. What would be the most appropriate/recommended way to approach this problem?
2. How can the roughness of the pipe be included in the simulation (without having to change the CAD model)

I would greatly appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction to get started. This is only my 3rd simulation with CFD, and my first time posting on this forum so forgive me.

Thanks
