Hi all
I am using overset mesh for my simulation. body(ship) is moving with constant speed say 8m/s. I have defined DFBI 6DOF body and in place of initial velocity, I need to put velocity vector. I need to ramp velocity from 0m/s to 8m/s in lets say 15 seconds and this velocity is in only X direction. How can i write field function to ramp velocity of moving body and then how can i call that function in 6dof body. thank you |

Hi,
If you know at the velocity values at specified time steps, you can input them in a table. For this under the velocity inlet boundary, instead of constant, you have to change the input to table. |

thank you
I would also like to define field function for static pressure as I am simulating with single phase(water) and system defined functions are not working |
