Hi every1
I am working on multiphase flow(slurry-liquid and solid) simulation.I am working on a example of 10 m long pipe.how the pressure parameters affect.Should i define reference pressure.i couldn't get the velocity pulse when plotting surface average-->velocity-->inlet region.
I have given velocity inlet function as a table.

Thank u

Hi,
the reference-pressure is given to avoid numerical issues.
The dynamic pressure which is accountable for the dynamic flow, is very low campared to the absolute pressure (p_a = p_static + p_ref) where p_static includes your dynamic pressure.
