DEM Track File Output
 

Hi there,

I am running a DEM simulation where the end result is a densely packed pebble bed. All of the pebbles have the same radius. I want to be able to create the exact same pebble bed in another program (Serpent), which requires simple (x,y,z) coordinate inputs via a text file.

Is it possible to get the StarCCM+ .trk file converted into some other file type so that i can simply extract the cartesian co-ordinates for the centroid of each particle? Perhaps output as a .csv file?

Did you get anywhere with this? I have defined a table, but wish I could work directly with the track file for post processing.
