Hi, I'm doing an aerodynamic optimization process over a wing. In my CAD file, my wing is subdivided in two parts: the fixed part which geometry does not change in the optimization, and the parametric part, which obviusly will change during oprtimization process.
So I want that at any optimization step, the mesh grid volume is fixed for the fixed part but change only for the parametric part, becouse i want reduce the time for the grid generation. thank you. |

To do this and have a conformal unstructured mesh is very difficult.
If you don't care about the mesh being conformal you can easily just make two meshing operations and mesh each one separately, and then once the parametric part updates the other part will not be remeshed. Then at runtime the interfaces will be computed, but it's possible you will not have 100% face matching. |

No, you can use CATIA's variables if you want. It's easier to use star's though.
