Hot spots appearing in volume mesh

I am running a simple cylindrical geometry with a high pressure region at the start of the simulation. Part way through the simulation, when the pressure wave has passed through an area of tube (which remains at a relatively steady pressure afterwards) spots of high pressure appear on the tube (see link below). I am using a volume extruded mesh which makes me think it isn't a meshing problem. Any ideas?

I have seen something like that but with temperature before. It may mean that the simulation hasn't converged all the way. So, you might try letting it run for a little while more to see if the pressure comes down. Otherwise, you might change the models you are using.

Needed a lower time constant, problem resolved
