Creating interfaces and remeshing pierced faces error
 

I have a pipe which is divided into three regions by two interfaces and I have worked on part level as well as region level. In both cases I have used multi part imprint and checked the initial surface and it was fine the imprinting was gud and without any errors. While I do surface mesh at the interfaces on the both regions I am facing pierced faces. Can any one help I am using version 11.06

Hi Saikrishna,

after surface meshing you should have a look on your surface. Use the "Repair Surface" tool of your imprinted parts (after surface meshing) and then choose the geometry description "Automated Mesh.Remesh". With the surface check you should identify the weaknes of your geometry better.
Another way is to mesh each region separately and define the interfaces at a later time of your simulation. You can adjust the quality of the interface with the intersection value.
