problem: FSI + DFBI motion in Star CCM

Hi,
I want to simulate an elastic solid wedge body that impacts the water. The impact is through a free fall motion. I tried to model this problem with Abaqus Co-simulation in Star CCM, but it doesn't work in DFBI motion. Please, someone, help me.  Thanks. Mohammad |

Hi. You can do this by using overset mesh + mesh morphing in Starccm+ and a free falling simulation in Abaqus (apply a gravity load).
