Error during surface wrapping
 

Hello Everyone,

I´m going to make a fullmodel simulation of a racecar using StarCCM+.
The problem is that I already have a halfcut model simulation which works quite well. Now I was trying to make a fullmodel version and the following error occured:

surface wrapper cannot be applied simultaneously at multiple regions

This error occures every single time I´m going to mesh the model and right after the surface wrapper is completed.
Has anybody ever had this type of error? I know that the troubleshooting and especially the error report is not quite well in StarCCM.

I would be grateful if anybody could help me with my problem.

You need to split into two different mesh for two different region. That will usually help.

Hi,

I am working on a simple curved surface and I am receiving the same error when I am trying to mesh the surface. I have uploaded the file. I have been receiving the same error with other simulations, it's a bit frustrating.

Please have a look and let me know how I can solve this. Thank you.
