modelling interphase reaction

Hello everyone,

I would like to ask how to set a Interphase reaction while using the Mutliphase segreagte flow model.
Following the user guide, I defined 2 phases (1 multi-component liquid and 1 multi-component gas) and then specified the liquid as continuos phase and the gas as dispersed phase.
But after selecting the Interphase mass Transfer model, what I got from the Interphase Mass Transfer Rate group box doesn't includ Interphase reaction
, there are only Boiling Mass Tranfer Rate and UD Interphase Mass Flux

what can I do to active the Interphase reaction??

best regards,
Cen

the problem is solved. it's necessary to choose ''non-reacting'' when difing the Eulerphase, after that the Interphase reaction will appear.

Did you work with reacting TwoPhaseEulerFoam?
I'm having trouble including reactions between phases, is it possible to perform these reactions without changing the code?

Dear Mauricio,

I am facing the same problem. I have to solve a multiphase system with interphase reaction (liquid -> liquid + gas).

Did you solve your problem? If yes, could you give me any advice?

Best regards

Tiziano
