Hi everyone,

I'm trying to run a hovering rotor simulation but I can't seem to make it match the Caradonna and Tung experimental data I want to compare against. The simulated coefficients of pressure are far above the experimental data particularly at X/C 0-0.4. I'm using a rigid body motion method so prescribing a rotation rate to the region containing the blades.

Should I be using a multiphase model in my simulation? I've seen this mentioned in a few papers in order to capture the wake but I'm not sure if its necessary?

Also if anyone knows any papers that take the RBM method and clearly spell out their methodology that would also be appreciated.

Thanks
