I'm making a big heat exchanger, 0.86m diameter tubes, 30m high with 5mm thick steel pipes. I simulate the pipes as a baffle interface and I wonder how I can get the correct heat flux over the interface?

I'm not sure what you're asking. The thread title is:

How do I create a variable heat flux on a baffle interface?

and you asked:

how I can get the correct heat flux over the interface?

These are not the same thing.

If you set up the simulation correctly and use appropriate boundary conditions, you should get a similar heat flux to an experiment ("correct").
