Hi,
I have a simple 3D CAD model with different parameters defined as expressions, such as 'Chamfer Offset' and 'Extrude End Limit'. This is done to perform an optimazation study in STAR-CCM+. Everything works out with exporting in Simcenter NX but when I import the .prt file as 3D model I get the following error: Error during CAD import. Details in log file D:\...\Block.prt.log With the following details in the log file: Command line : --input D:\Block.prt --output C:\Users\student\AppData\Local\Temp\661d1814-5282-424b-a5e6-3259737d6378.x_t --parasolid_pass_through --logfile D:\Block.prt.log HOOPS Exchange 10.2 64-bit Unicode PK 30.0.269 ERR LoadFromFile Error -10005 D:\Block.prt If I export the CAD model into a .STL, .STEP or .x_t it works fine but then I am losing my parameters which is the most important part of my design. Help is really much appreciated, thank you! |
