Hi, everybody.
I am trying to monitor the volume fraction of a solid phase inside an annular space between two concentric cylinders that have a poiseuille particle-laden flow on it. I tried to first create a derived part "Section->Cylinder", but it did not work out, since it created an open entity, which screenshot is given on the first image below. After that, I tried to create a derived part "Section->Plane" and monitor the particle volume fraction on it, suspecting that it might give me wrong values, since its volume zero: no wonder I am getting values bigger than one, as the second screeshot shows. Does anyone know what I can do to solve this problem? Thank you! |
