How to set the meshing for DNS -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

songkai New Member Songkai Yang Join Date: Apr 2018 Posts: 22 Rep Power: 7	Hi everyone, now i want a simulation with DNS and RANS. Then compared the results of these two each other. when i set the meshing for DNS, need i set the prism layer mesher for the boundary layer and consider the y+<=1? Moreover the inlet velocity is cycle data. if i need consider y+<=1, the max velocity in the cycle should be used to get the first grid distance delta s? Thanks a lot!
