Help with warning "Computation of MultiComponent Boiling Temperature..."

Hello together,

does anyone know what setting I need to change, that the below warning is fixed?

Warning: Computation of "MultiComponent Boiling Temperature" has been aborted in 10515 cells as saturation pressure does not increase monotonically with temperature. This indicates that critical temperature is reached.

I'm using the following models and think its either the Fluid Film and/or the Multiphase Interaction model:
  • Fluid Film
  • Lagrangian Multiphase (Spray)
  • Multi-Component Gas
  • Multiphase Interaction
I am grateful for any help.

Greetings, tisa

Hello together,

I found the solution myself. I got some settings of my materials in the film model wrong. After correcting those, everything was fine.

Could you please let me know what settings did you change to fix this warning?
I am having the same problem with my simulation.

I am having the same problem with my simulation.

The polynomials of the materials were set to °C (because of my preferred unit), but the numbers of those polynomials were meant for K. So i changed °C -> K and everything was fine.

Thank you for letting me know.
I have also found the solution to my problem.
For others' reference, I have changed the default value of the saturation pressure for the film phase. I used the Antoine Equation with the correct coefficients (not the default) for my fluid and flow conditions.
