Hello

I need to use a bigger domain for my model than I need because of the pressure outlet effect but I still need a very fine mesh.
I would like to have three mesh values in the domain but I do not know how.

my domain is 4mm * 4mm and I only need 1mm * 1mm area and another deep fine mesh in the bottom 20e-6 high * 1mm wide

The best that I can do is to refine one area for about 25 % of the base size (any smaller then this value will corrupt the code for some reason in starccm+)
I need about 1e-6 mesh size in the 1mm * 1mm and 25 % of that in the area 20e-6 high * 1mm wide
the rest of the domain need to be very coursed because I do not need it and it will wast my computational time.

If there is any way for me to have 3 values of mesh it will help a lot.

by the way with this problem the mesh refinement XYZ table is useless because it also becomes corrupt and gives different values then specified.

I think the problem it with the small cell size, starccm+ needs to adjust there code.

you can refine different region in your domain using a volumetric control under the mesh continuum node

I am using it, but like I mentioned there is a problem with ghe code in star ccm+ when you try with small values. The limit with my values is no less than 25% of the base value. And that is not good
