Extraction of Velocity 'Snapshots'

Hi everyone,

I am working on a project that involves the creation of a model of the flow regime around a 2D wing. For the basis of this model, I would require the extraction of so-called velocity snapshots from a DNS simulation. More specifically, I require the u and v velocity components in a pre-defined region at discrete x and y co-ordinates at certain points in time. I am wondering whether this is achievable with Star-CCM+? Can I set up something like a measurement grid that can output all the data I need in an xyz table at each timestep?

I hope I explained this well enough, but if not, I am happy to elaborate. I look forward to your ideas!
