Hello,
I want to export NODE NUMBERS of the boundary cells with HTC values from Star CCM+ (to be imported in Abaqus at a later process.) Is there a way to export node numbers ? Last edited by nalamyogesh; October 19, 2018 at 10:13. |

You can export scalars to NASTRAN files which you can import into Abaqus. Check out the user guide, it's in there.

Hello me3840,
Thank You for the response. But I want the node numbers of the surface to be readable in any normal text editor (may be in a .csv format) as it possible from proSTAR (Star CD). |

NASTRAN files are ascii, they should be plenty readable in a text editor.

Thank You so much. I could open it as an ASCII. But it is giving me the node coordinates. I am looking for Node Numbering aswell.

Try exporting in Bounday Shell file format. This will give you three files, .cel, .vrt, and .daten. The cells wills be triangles (poly and trim faces will be decomposed) and the data will be in the .daten file.
