Hallo everyone,

I am trying to solve the following problem:

I have simulated the heat transfer between the battery cell and the cooling fluid. The battery cell is modeled as a cylinder (so, as a circle in 2D). Now I want to plot the temperature distribution along the entire 2D circumference. My questions are the following:

1. How can I create a line probe along the circle surface?

2. I want to have my resulting plot-axis as "Y -- temperature" and "X -- angle in degree °", so I can plot my temperature distribution in the 0° - 360° interval. Is it possible to define this kind of such "polar coordinate system" with it's origing in the centre of the battery cell circle?

Thank you all in advance!

Kind regards,
Valentyn

Create a cylindrical coordinate system at the center of the battery, then apply a plane section using that coordinate system. Don't use a line probe.

With the coordinate system and plane you can get the plot you want.
