Hello,

Is it possible to export a volume mesh from Star-CCM+ to SU2? Star-CCM+ has its .ccm export file (I believe) for volume meshes which I think is in CGNS format. SU2 takes meshes in CGNS format. The leads me to believe that it would work. I just do not know if the .ccm file needs to be changed in any way or if anything else needs to be done?

Thanks in advance.

.ccm is not CGNS, it is a proprietary format, however there is a library you can request to convert it to other formats.

If I remember correctly star does not export to CGNS directly, but it's been a while. The user guide should give the formats supported, but there aren't many.
